There will be two chain pulls for the fan and one for the light. Make sure that you turn off the circuit box for that particular switch. Disconnect the previous light fixture and the wiring attached to it.

Now it is time to assemble your fan. When you purchase your fan, it will surely come with assembly instructions. Simply follow that before you hang it onto the mounting bracket you've previously installed. After hanging the ceiling fan, make sure to connect the wiring according to the manufacturer's instructions. Install everything and turn on the circuit breaker. Now it is time to test your fan.

If you know the exact make and model, tell me. Minka Aire looks like a some kind. It has no sticker on the fan. Tons of air blowing in height, but has little air flow directly under the sloping ceiling fan from the air flow. This is medium-low and too slow to control the wall. The light kit is loose.
